MAVS strives to provide the best training for volleyball players in the entire Heart of America Region. This includes nationally recognized teams as well as locally and regionally recognized teams.  MAVS wants to promote the sport of volleyball  and allow players to meet their individual goals as well as team goals.  As a year-round volleyball club we will continue to develop, implement and evaluate playing opportunities while maintaining the highest level of standards for coaches and players in all programs.

MAVS COVID POLICIES

 

MAVS Families (players, coaches, and parents) are required to follow all facility, local, and state laws regarding COVID protocols. Please note, that each tournament and facilities are likely to have different protocols in place, MAVS commits to follow any protocols required.

MAVS KC/816 Facilities (Lenexa and Leawood):

  • MAVS requires masks or PPE for all coaches during practice and tournament play.
  • Coaches masks/PPE must be over the nose and mouth, in all team huddles, and can only be pulled down to address a player from a distance (i.e. across the net during practice, or from the bench during the tournament) and must be promptly returned to the correct position. 
  • Players must wear a mask when entering and exiting the facility. 
  • We recommend players wear masks during the duration of practices and tournament play.
  • Spectators and guests are required to wear masks/PPE  at all times, as well as keep social distancing in the MAVS facilities.
